Candles lit all over Sowerby Bridge for Charlie tonight. It now appears that more than 800 people have either been involved in or following our search. The woman involved in using the drones to look for him has said that in over ten years of helping to find lost dogs she has never come across a response like this. I know I sometimes poke fun at our funny little town and its ways, but tonight I am proud of our response as a community to a sad situation and very glad that I live here. It's a small town with a huge heart.

Jonny has set up a fundraiser on fb to buy a heat seeking drone for the area to help find lost dogs in the future. There has also been a suggestion that the current fb page is kept open for the same purpose, re-named 'Charlie's Angels' which is the name he has given us all.

I don't know, nothing has been said about that, other than that his body was found here in Sowerby Bridge, which as Jonny said is quite a busy/ populated area, so we're struggling to understand how no-one saw him sooner. Probably we'll never know.

On further inspection of the photo, I do like the way the treats box is balanced on an empty wine case. Most apt for Sowerby Bridge.

Well.......all I can say is that I only noticed it on looking back at the photo
However, it is situated right outside 'Cork and Rind' a shop I just happened to pop into thisafternoon and guess what they sell!
