Our vet in Hampshire was good. Great with Charlie letting him take everything at his own pace, treating him in the car and in the car park when he was worried about going inside. The fees have gone up a lot, too much. I have my niggles now as they didn't take my worries about Hattie seriously. Now she has been diagnosed with arthritis and a kidney problem that I banged on about for well over a year, this makes my angry and sad.
The vet we have in Scotland got down on the floor with Hattie, not really necessary as she loves everyone, but nevertheless I appreciated it. They are the only vet in town so their fees are expensive. One blood test for Hattie cost me £106.00. I resented being asked to go back for a blood pressure check when I had been in there a few days earlier, another £35. I will be taking Hattie back for repeat tests and annual jabs so another huge bill. It will be interesting to see what the annual jabs will cost. I know what I want from a vet and wouldn't accept anything I didn't feel comfortable with. xx
