Copenhagen dog harness, it's brilliant!

Ripple's Copenhagen harness arrived today, I ordered the XL, but it’s quite a weird fit. I’ve had to tighten the girth straps as far as they will go, but loosen off the neck straps a fair amount. I’m guessing this is probably the best size for him, but as he stood all stiff and awkward when I was trying it on (reminded me of trying shoes on my girls when they were young  ) I’m not 100% sure.

I’ve left the labels on for the time being in case I need to exchange it. In the end I bought the mocha from agility world and I think it looks quite smart, but you can tell from Ripple's face and stiff tail he’s not entirely in agreement with me.
I had the same problem, Baxter has a huge head lol I would have to loosen it to get it on then tighten it to use it.. then loosen it to get it off again. I gave up it seemed a lot of hassle to go a walk. He pulled a lot with it too so i went back to his other one. I liked to look of this one but didn't work for us

Ahh, that's interesting - a shame it didn't work, but really sensible to kick it into touch if it wasn't doing the job. Kipper's fits over his head without adjustment, but there's not a huge amount of extra room either side so I can see it'd be an issue.

I need a new harness for Buddy as he has nearly grown out of his current one, but can't decide between one of these or the Perfect Fit. At 6 months with lots of growing still to do, am I better off with Perfect Fit so I can just swap a section rather than the whole harness as he grows?

Pepper never got on with his Perfect Fit, not really sure why. He’s currently got a Hurtta Adventure Harness which he tolerates, although we use it less and less nowadays.

is anyone using a Dog Copenhagen Air Walk Harness?
I haven't seen this one, but I do like the look of it. A bit lighter that the original Copenhagen? The back attachment looks in a good position, not too high. Good harness for dogs who don't like anything over their head. I have been looking at a more suitable harness for Otter.

I like the design too, but the key feature is the front buckle to avoid putting it on over head. However, as many other models we do not have a possibility to try it on before purchase. Kona is top end of a L size range, but to fit further from the armpits, I would prefer the XL.

Yes! Meg has an Air Walk harness. It's a lovely light harness, but we don't use it much. I wanted to try the front attachment but I find it pulls the harness wonky - not that surprising really. I still prefer the Haqihana.

front ring is not something we would use much. Are size ranges strict, would it be possible to lessen the girth straps for a few cm more than to the sizes listed on the size chart?

Meg has a Medium, and the chart suggested I go up a size. I didn't and she is on the extreme adjustment. She is very skinny with a fairly deep chest. On reflection, the bigger size would be better, and adjust it down.

I know Brexit is a pain. I can't buy the Grippy Lead now as the import tax and everything makes it very expensive. I will order two leads just before I go to the UK and get them sent to my Oldies. Not sure when but I was really hoping by the middle of August. I can't get Senior Yumove either.
Maybe if I finally make it to the UK to see my parents I could get you one and post it.

I'd be happy to buy and post grippy lead and yumove to you if that helps?
