That you had given your dog another name ? Just musing really because honestly, the permutations of Reuben are unbelievable ! On my FB page he is called Reuben ( correct !) , Rubin , Rueben , Ruban , Ruben and even one of my neighbours calls him Rebon . Why in heavens name didn't we stick with Asher or something simple like Sid ! I still love his name which I often shorten to Reubs , but ................ ! x

Nothing annoys me more than people who don’t get names right 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ I can understand mishearing but when it’s written down just follow the spelling.

My friend just called her baby Beatrix and keeps getting so annoyed with people writing Beatrice 😂🙈

One of my pet hates is anyone shortening my children's names. Really, if I had wanted a Joe or a Tom that's what I would have called them. Even my daughter Grace, some of her friends elongate to Gracie :angry: It annoys the hell out of my and it's rude. xx

Names are funny. We do get Vanilla to sometimes be 'Manilla', but I think that is more to do with not having washed their ears properly.

Now then with my name, I do really wish it was not that difficult. I have had variations from is Sven short for Steven, to Seven, Suen, Schwen, Ben, etc. etc. and even when it is written down in B&W, still get it wrong....

I don't mind being called Rob or Robbie or Robber or even Bob as one friend calls me affectionately. But I do despair when people spell my name Robin instead of Robyn as in this part of the world Robin is a boys name.

Sven - my hubby is Stephen but he always gets Steven even when people reply to emails or whatever. He even got Sven once!
It's rude to not double check someone's name before you hit send. He mostly gets called Steve or Stevo which he likes
