Dodgy guts

Hope he gets better soon. Hopefully this will make you smile on the same topic.

Bella spaniel is a little soft at the moment for some reason (probably the sneaky mouthfuls of chicken poo she chomps when we walk past the peach groves...). As she has some faecal incontinence issues, you can imagine that this can be messy. Overnight, she has a nappy on, which I remove before morning walks and then I pop her in the shower to wash off her back end when we get home. She's not impressed, but needs must. I then pop her back in a nappy until she's reasonably dried off.
Yesterday, I made two mistakes.
Mistake number 1: I forgot to take the nappy into the bathroom.
Mistake number 2: I didn't close the bathroom door.

Cue our little Nugget, happily fleeing, gloriously bare-bottomed from the bathroom and scampering around the house, shaking furiously and spreading her chocolate soft-whip onto pretty much every surface available.

I am considering taking out shares in disinfectant sprays and kitchen towels.

Thanks all. He was a little sick in the early hours but has since kept his breakfast down and in and has just had a light brunch of a little pumpkin pasta, chicken and scrambled egg. My mum stopped by earlier to visit the patient and he brought her his favourite duck and ignored 4 paws on the floor as usual (🙄) so hopefully he is feeling a little brighter in himself and headed in the right direction🤞

I hope lovely Neo is feeling better this morning
He seems to be feeling a lot better thanks 🙂 No night time incidents and his tummy is returning to normal. Little tyke won’t touch water though after having the roast chicken flavoured rehydration drink so I’ve just had to pop out and pick up some more from the vets to keep him happy. I’m sure I have ‘chump’ stamped on me somewhere…..
