Does Hattie look Thin?

Morning, we get a lot of owners posting photo's asking if their dogs are thin. Sorry it's my turn and as Hattie is very nearly 11 years old her weight obviously needs to be watched which I do. She was clipped yesterday, I asked Sarah if she thought Hattie looked thin, she said "I had noticed she had lost some weight but no I wouldn't say she is too thin infact I would say she is just right" Here are a couple of photo's, I would very much appreciate your views too. Thanks so much as always. xx

It's obviously a bit more challenging to see from pictures because of the texture of her coat compared to a smooth coated Labrador, but she looks absolutely tip-top to me.

I agree with the others, she looks absolutely fine

She does look in great shape. The other test to add is can you feel her ribs with light pressure, or do they feel really bony with little pressure? You can't see them due to the texture of her coat. She's a very similar shape to Coco from above with that lovely waist.

I adore her tail. I'm a sucker for a bushy tail. More Hattie picture please.

Oh thank you all so much. I have been at the Hospice today, rushed home to check out what you all think, as always you are all brilliant and put my mind at rest. It's so difficult with her coat, she was in almost full coat yesterday so it's difficult to tell. I can feel her ribs. When she went for her yearly MOT and jabs in January the vet said she was in excellent condition but as well know a lot can change so always worth checking.

Phew I can stop worrying and thank you all for your lovely compliments, Hattie is chuffed to bits xx
