Doggy brags

I need a doggy non-brag thread. He was a devil in fur at the beach today. Just when we thought he'd turned a big corner
Don't be disheartened ! He has turned a big corner, just not today. He'll do it again, he's still young. My experience with Cassie is (and just one dog I know) that at nearly 3 things are coming together. She's still exuberant and lively, probably always will be, it's just her character.
My mantra with the training is "keep doing it, keep doing it!". The right things that is!

Ok, I finally have a brag about Carbon for this thread - yay! :monkey:

I'm sitting here this morning planning out his training sessions for the day and he's dying to get started. Mainly because I brought a full treat pouch and his clicker down from the kitchen so he knows a session is imminent. I don't usually plan out our lessons on the laptop, so he's frustrated that we don't start NOW!!!

Anyway, I was just talking to him as I do (blah blah blah, blah blah) which he usually happily ignores. As I've mentioned before, he is very slow to pick up on any words and to my knowledge all he knows so far is "Get your bunny" and "Go potty".

Well, today I said, "After we do your training session we can go for a WALK! How about that?" Usually this is met with stone face, but today right at the word "WALK" he leapt off the sofa and started dancing around. Maybe it's a coincidence, but I'm going to take it that "Walk" has now made it into his little neural synapses. Wooo hoooo!!!!

I have few and far between brags for Hunter:mmm: but reading about Cassie does give me hope!! We went to our French patisserie today for a coffee and pain au chocolat. Hunter did not try to steal food from anybody or drool over their shoes with his big begging eyes! He did get a little excited with the cute 2 month French Bulldog but he played very gentle with him. BTW the cafe part is huge which means he has lots of space to "chill"! We always leave a big tip when we pay:$.
