Dogs and the fear of fireworks (yes, it's nearly that time of year again!)

I do feel sorry for cancelled events , but our weather here is so foul that only the brave ( or stupid ) would be out in this weather x

I spoke too soon , fireworks going off very close , Reuben is very upset indeed

I wouldn’t say Red is stressed by fireworks but I walked her as usual earlier and two really loud bangs went off close by - they made me jump as they did Red. I said ‘listen to that’ gently which is what I always say whenever there are loud unexpected noises. She looks at me, gets a treat and we carry on walking
