I have teary eyes for Echo, leaving behind all that he has known

I am sure he will quickly adjust.
Also teary eyes for
@Boogie xx
He will adjust in an instant!
He‘s been on lots of holidays, he gets in the boarders car without a glance back and heads straight for the toy box when they arrive and settles in. Not a moment‘s hesitation. Just like all GD pups.
It‘s because our methods and routines are exactly the same - feeding routines, spending routines, bedtime routines, rules, training signals - everything.
Also GD pups are bred to be super bold and confident. This makes them hard work, but pays off when it comes time to move on.
Consider Kier. He came to me, then Atherton School, then Leeds for advanced training, then Oxford for hearing dog training (five months), then back to Leeds for training with his owner, then to his owner. Not a wobble for any of the moves.
I will be weeping - but it will be for me, not for Echo. He will
love Big School and is very much ready for it.
