Finn is not well

Finn is since this morning very poort. My OH took him yesterday with him to our house in the forrest to have some out time of Odin. This morning he wanted to walk Finn, but he refused to stand or walk. After a lot of encouragement hé walked on three legs. But then layed down again. Doesn't want to poo or pee. As I am on the other side of the country my neighbor looked after him, but no progression on walking or peeing. He has eaten, but thats it...
My OH managed to get a replacement for work, and is on his way to the vet with Finn. I am going to meet them there...He is going to be admitted So they can see what is wrong....
We are afraid that we are going to have to say goodbye to Finn....I hope the vet is able to do something for him....

We left him at the vet. They will keep us up to date. He had a pee and poo on arrival at the vet. They saw him walking, probably because of the adrenaline boost. That is why they will observe him and see what is going on. The last couple of days hé alsof seemed a bit boated,

What a worry for you but small signs that he could be improving, though the bit bloated is of concern. Hope the vet can get to the bottom of the problem.

I hope he's ok. We had a very similar episode with Rory. It took awhile and a change in drug therapies but hes ok at the moment. I hope your vets can help Finn.

Finn is back home! The vet gave him a high dose of librela. We have to wait and see if this will work. My oh picked him up and told me that at this moment hé is okay. Hopefully this will work... She also said this was her last resort for him as he is on the maximum dose of painmedication. When the pain comes back like today it's more likely we have to say goodbye to him.....

I know it's hard it's all we can do. I think we maybe in the same situation as us. Rory is very reliant on his pain relief he's on librella with paracetamol and gabapentin. We have tramadol for any bad days. I really hope Finn can be comfortable again, you are so loving and kind to him. Lots of love to you all
