Hi reading @Alleeluna post about food reminded me to tell you about a new food that I found
My dogs have sensitive stomachs and I very careful about what they have to eat. Normally we start the day with a small amount of Fish for Dogs kibble as one dog is on a fish only diet. They love this kibble and I can use it as treats when I’m training as it’s so popular with them.
Their tea is Raw Natural Instinct - one dog salmon and the others such or turkey. I don’t feed chicken to them as it seems to be a factor in Pickles ear problems. Put it this way, since I’ve taken great pains to cut chicken out of her diet we haven’t had another bout of painful ears. Hooray!
Travelling with three raw fed dogs is an absolute pain though, especially when you are away for two weeks and change location halfway through. This time we took away 750g chubs of Tribal food with us. No need to freeze, and it’s a high protein low filler food only three ingredients. The dogs loved it and wolfed it down. We didn’t do any gradual change just swopped on the first day of the hols and there were no problems with it.
