It looks perfect, it is washable as I am looking for a new bed for Flicka.
Yes, it is washable @Stacia . I got it off ebay, new from the charity Scope. It cost £36 plus p & p £4.95 Size XXL (Fred's bed).
It is very large. Fits 2 dog plus one cat.

They have got more. You have to bid.

On Amazon they are £90.

I have one coming for Annie which is smaller, Large size that cost me £26 plus P & P £4.95

If you get ebay uk on the internet and put

eBay item number:287029278385

You will see another one in Large size.

The one I ordered for Annie is 3ft x 2ft (90 cm x 61 cm) . You can alway use a newspaper taped together to make the rectangle that size and place in your room to see if it fits where you want it to go Alison. It is plenty big enough for Annie but she a small lab not like Fred.

Fred's bed is very big.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I would only need a small one for Flicka, she only weighs 15kg. I have looked on Amazon and made a note of the sizes. Excellent idea about cutting a newspaper to size.

As much deliberation I decided not to get a new bed for the sitting room. Instead I have taken a load of filling out of the bed we were using in the garden during the summer and added it to her existing bed which Red has always loved. The filling had got squashed right down. I’ve washed the cover. She got straight on it and went to sleep so I reckon that’s a 👍🏼. We can move this anywhere in the room depending on how many people are here. I suppose ultimately she will need something more supportive
