Aww Snowie
I don't know if it helps, but Lilly had a bit of an issue with smelling really cheesy odour coming mainly from her back over the last 6 months or so.
I did notice her fur was coming out, but she has a really really thick ruff area and over her flanks, and these areas were shedding a lot of brown/dead fur.
I made sure that she wasn't getting anything scented after swimming, and P always uses a mildly antibacterial shampoo, no changes there.
I wondered if it was due to her librela, maybe being an issue of mild immunosuppression. Probably doing the 2+2=6 thing here though...
Anyway, I worked diligently over the last 3 months to brush her with a "furminator" once or twice a week and tried a mouse that the vet suggested, just using it once a week.
DUOXO S3 PYO . It is antibacterial and antifungal.
LIilly's coat is much less brown and her odour is much reduced. To be fair, I've only used the PYO stuff about 4 times.
I think she maybe had seborrheic dermatitis.
Anyway, not sure any of this is of any help at all, but just sharing our experience.
