At least you can begin to resume normal life!

At least you can begin to resume normal life!

Thanks, that's something I wouldn't have thought of. I shall now go shopping for baby socks!...Although, come to think of it I've got some tubigrip that would probably do it.Phewee! That’s great news, I can imagine GGJ’s sigh of relief from here!
I know you’re a far more seasoned dog owner than I, but when we had Kipper in a boot for walks I realised after a few days it had rubbed a small sore patch on the top of his footit’s fine now, but in future I think I’d use a baby sock inside the boot to reduce chafing, just thought I’d mention it.
Not even to celebrate? Well done, GGJ and you. I think she now needs a little distraction, so where better than the pub?!Noooo! Not on a Monday!![]()
The vet said that what it needs now is a bit of friction to make it tougher and the best thing for this is walking, with no boot on! He advised me to take the boot with me incase I came to a surface that worried me but that he couldn't think of any locally. He then didn't charge me! He said he'd count it as a post op. check and that the silver lining to the whole experience was how much Joy's confidence at the surgery has increased. She did actually sit and stare very pointedly at him today, obviously asking for a treat which made us both laugh. I'm so relieved that we can get back to normal now!
