She's like a spring lamb again. Honestly, when people say "I don't want to use drugs" or whatnot, then I see how bloody AMAZING drugs are, I'm like "GIVE ME ALL THE DRUGS!!!"
That's brilliant news, so happy for you and Ginny!
I'm with you completely on this. Monty has been on daily NSAIDs from 14 months. They've given him everything- to live as normal a life as possible and I dread to think where we would have be without them. Long live the ( prescribed) drugs!
Hooray! So glad Ginny is feeling better! I know that on the rare occasions when I'm I pain ( broken bones and what have you) prescribed meds have been an absolute godsend. Can't think of any reason why our dogs shouldn't have the same help.
That's good. Having had dogs that needed help with pain I know that good pain relief improves and extends their lives. We owe it to them to discover what can help them. I get annoyed when people say I don't believe in giving pari relief. Why ? The benefits are clear. Doug's life was extended by the use of pain meds by about 18 months.
Unfortunately my dog cannot take pain killers, causes his stomach to bleed and then he vomits blood. I decided to ask the vet if we could try steroids and he agreed, Rourke seems fine relatively and I also have him on CBD drops.
