Ah she’s doing ok thanks for asking. Not much in the way of walks these days, although she came for a little potter around this afternoon. She tires quickly and that makes her fall more frequently. She has very little muscle mass, and it can be a challenge to keep weight on her - the complete opposite of how she was before.
I sleep downstairs now so that she can sleep with me on my pillow and have moved my computer to the living room so she can curl up next to me on the sofa while I work.
After morning walks with the others, I come home to HUGE ears on the sofa. I call her and she runs outside to take part in a little treat scatter. She’s still cheeky and loves to do hand touches and middles. When I go out to agility with Shadow, it’s waaay past dinner time by the time I get back, and she lets me know all about it by repeatedly prodding the back of my thigh with her pointy nose while I’m prepping their dinner. She’ll then sprint to the sofa and leap onto it to eat her dinner in comfort, normally with me muttering “so much for being a cripple” as I trot to catch up.
She’s a joy, and a total asshat at times

If the other dogs are on the main sofa (except Willow) and she wants to come up, she will just jump on top of them, wriggle down into the smallest gap, and wait for them to move so she can stretch out. Shadow and Squidge will inevitably get off the sofa so she can take their spot. I wouldn’t let any of the others get away with that sort of behaviour, but it’s Ginny, so…
She and Bella often curl up together on the same bed. It’s cute to see them like this, but I think it’s less about affection for one another and more to do with the fact that neither of them knows much about personal space.
So, that’s her in a nutshell. Still happy and loving life, just at a slower pace than before.
