Good Squidge!!

Well done Squidge. Maybe she realised there was blueberry inside and handed it over in disgust. Fruit in chocolate not what she was expecting

@snowbunny chocolate really does work for catching mice. Well UK mice anyway. You might not be able to get them in Spain but I swear by milkyway Magic stars they never fail. About six years ago we had "The year of the mouse" It was the first time for about 15 years we didn't have a cat or two on the farm. :cat:I caught twelve mice in my car, yes in my car !!! and twelve mice in my kitchen all with milkyway Magic stars and a couple of traps obviously. I always keep some in stock. Last winter I opened my mums kitchen draw and a little mouse was lying on top of a roll of freezer bags !!! I very quickly shut the draw, set a trap behind the cupboards with a magic star, ten minutes later BANG mouse in trap. :tmi:

Top tip. Soften the chocolate and squash it around the spike on the trap that way mouse can't just pinch it off. >:)How mean am I? Little mice are cute but not in my house or car. :tmi:

I do love Jacks! I used to be quite anti because one of our family dogs was attacked quite badly by a JRT - embarrassingly as our dog was a GSD x BC so about five times the size - but J has great friends in North Wales and the entire village seems to have related JRTs who are all just fantastic, so I was converted.
I’m not sure I have the energy, though :cwl:

I can categorically say that Labradors are useless! Mine either don’t wake at all, or just watch as the mouse goes past,
Although Squidge did deliver me a dead mouse in the garden a few weeks back. That was nice.

The mice here are teeny tiny! Their bodies are only about 2-3cm long. I caught one last week that had three legs and relocated it miles away. I’m interested to see if it comes back :)
