Today my friends dog fell over. I usually walk with her, but was working. He could not stand,. He fell on Sunday too but was ok. He is 10 my friend had been concerned he was Loosing condition. She carried him home and straight to the vets. They kept him in to do tests and his body had tumors throughout. She had him put to sleep he was that ill. He was a friend to all my dogs and me we will all miss him he was s brilliant dog. The handsomest dog ever more dashing than Errol Flynn and just good. Such a sad day. Goodbye Ziggy. Who will make us all behave now?
I support his mum as much as I can but it's so hard on her.

So sorry to hear about your friend’s dog. That happened with my collie-cross a few years ago. She had come out for a short walk with Wispa as usual, but then on the way home she suddenly collapsed, yelping terribly. We took her straight to the vet and she was found to have cancer of the spine, so we had to let her go.

It’s a horrible feeling, but I hope your friend can eventually think that it was relatively quick and he was probably enjoying his walk up until that moment. I know you’ll be there for her.

She's destroyed he was her once in a lifetime dog. I hoping to see her on Friday with her other dog Alfred. He's lovely boy a baby really he's going to be missing by his big brother. So sad.

Heartbreaking for your friend and Alfred will grieve for him as well. Poor girl must be in shock as all so sudden, I feel deeply for her.
