Morning Cath , I finally went to bed at midnight , taking Reuben with me . He settled down with his special suit on and went to sleep but woke at 2a.m. whimpering , its been on and off napping since then so I got up with him at 4.30 to see if he wanted a wee , he didnt but has now settled down into a deep sleep next to me on the sofa , Paul is taking over at 7 so that I can grab an hour or two in bed, well thats the plan ! x

Thanks again x The going back to bed idea didnt work , blasted seagulls on our roof Reuben has eaten a good brekkie , had a massive drink of water and been out for an equally massive wee . We`ve had quite a few tail wags this morning , still the odd moan but he`s had his loxicom so might feel sleepy xx

Thank you for asking Sonia , he is doing well I think ! I took him for a five/ten minute onlead walk , he did lots of wees but will not poo on lead even though its a long lead, oh well , he did a poo this morning . No whimpering now xx

I took Reuben out again for just five minutes as he was making some awful smells , he did a huge poo and was very pleased with himself He is sleeping soundly , has really settled since this afternoon and needless to say he is eating with his usual gusto . He will come to bed with me again tonight, wearing his special vest which he doesnt seem to mind too much , bless him xx

It sounds as though he is recovering really well.
Hunter does not mind his vest too much either. Luckily he did not lick his wound at night.
