Well, with humans after GA and an Op, that is real sign of progress! So maybe the same for dogs?

The going back to bed idea didnt work , blasted seagulls on our roof

No one who hasn't been down here believes me when I say that the seagulls sound like a pack of Jack Russells rolling around on the roof. And that doesn't even take into account all the loud conversations they have amongst themselves. Personally I love it crack the windows even in winter so that I can hear them properly during the day. But I can see how they are NOT conducive to taking a nap!

We both went to bed at 9.30 last night, he never moved an inch , no whimper, nothing at all until he woke me at 7a.m. bliss , thank you for asking Cath xx

He is amazing , bright eyed and raring to go today, he isnt even bothering with the plaster over the stitches so I only put his pyjamas on at bedtime we`ve been for a five minute walk and he was good as gold xx

The plaster has dropped off , I`ve tried ringing the Vets but there is a fault on their number . I have sterile dressings and am wondering if I should cover it again , he has his post op check tomorrow but I`d rather it was covered really xx

My pups never had their wound site covered. I think it’s best to let it breathe.

Hunter had no plaster either and it has healed quite nicely. X

I`m glad now that the dressing did drop off because Reuben has been outside all afternoon with me , I had a peep at the wound which looks brilliant , I think it needed the fresh air to it . He has his post op check in the morning and I`m sure he will pass with flying colours , he has been such a good boy xx
