Six years old today! Hard to believe it! We have a short train ride followed by a long walk planned, then some presents and a special birthday tea, probably involving sardines. Currently she and Loki, Spaniel nextdoor are busy barking Veryvery Fiercely at the recycling people.

What a busy day we've had! We caught the train to Hebden Bridge, walked from there to Hardcastle Crags, explored around there for a couple of hours, then walked back to get the train home. All in all we were out for six hours, during which Joy didn't stop once, apart from on the homeward train when she immediately fell asleep on my feet. She's sound asleep in her downstairs bed now. Looks like it's going to be a very quiet evening! I do love the way she keeps going all day though!
