One of my closest friends has said Farewell to her little rescue terrier Harry this morning, my heart breaks for her and her partner too . They took Harry as a long term foster from The Dogs Trust, knowing that he had had surgery to remove a cancerous growth on his neck and was on borrowed time but they fell in love with him and he with them . Sadly he recently became unwell , tests showing that the cancer has returned and was impacting greatly on his quality of life and so they took that hard but kind decision to let him go peacefully at home, he was only eight years old xxx
