Hattie at the Vet ;( ;(

This morning Hattie didn't want to get out of bed but eventually did, she ate her breakfast but refused to go outside for a wee. I noticed she was limping and wasn't putting any weight on her back left leg. I checked her paw for thorns etc. nothing. I didn't take her for a walk and she has stayed in bed all day. I have just got back from the vet who thinks it could either be her knee or hip, she said she could tell she is in pain as she manipulated her leg. She has Metacam and we are going back on Thursday, if there is no improvement they want to take X-Rays. No walks only on lead to the garden for toileting. I can't think what it could be, her and Charlie played as normal in Scotland, nothing out of the ordinary, normal walks. We came home at 10 pm last night she went out for a wee, we went to bed and she woke up like this. No sign of anything untoward. I am so worried not knowing what it is.:cry: xx

Poor Hattie, what a worry it is when they're not well and can't explain why! Hope the Metacam is effective and all goes well on Thursday. Could it be a touch of arthritis?

Poor girl. Hopefully the meds will work their magic and she’ll be back to normal soon.

I feel a bit stiff after a long car ride, too...if that is what it is I can relate :)

I feel terrible that it could be the long car journey  They have plenty of space in the car to move around and stand up. We also had significant delays due to motorway accidents. I must tell the vet as I didn't give it a second thought.

Thank you everyone. xx
