I sent a toy to Lyla, so she can have mum and siblings scent for when she comes back. It arrived today, and I've been sent this photo, along with videos (which I can't upload for some reason), it made me well up she's so adorable! View attachment 15103

Oh, the little puppy sweetheart! She reminds me of my little Joy when she was tiny. We sent a soft blanket that we had in our bed for a week to her, so that she got used to our scent and also got her dog Emily's scent on it, then it came with her when she came to live with us . I think the donkey is a lovely idea.

No, she was Lola. Her dad was Milo. We met them both and they were small, sweet natured and very gentle dogs. Easy to see where GGJ gets it from.

I do apologise for the delay @Natalie, Lyla is 4.1kg today at 7 weeks old, @Naya said Harley was 3.8kg at the same age, so not much difference at all!

Yesterday was finally the day we welcomed Lyla
She has been an absolute super star since the moment we got her
Been very busy exploring her new home and garden the past day, and playing with all of her new toys!
We haven't had an accident in the house yet, and even slept in her crate from 10.30pm until 3am, when I took her out for a wee, and then from 3am until 6.45am.
She is so loved already and can't wait for our life together
