Hopefully the itchy stitches have calmed down a bit and that it is a bit cooler for you.

The top stitches looked infected and he was very restless last night so I had him checked out today. The top stitches are very irritated so we have more antibiotics. The bottom stitches will be removed on Friday but we'll keep the top ones. Slow but steady progress. OH will be in charge next week as I need to go to the UK to help my parents.

It must feel like a really slow process but take comfort in the progress dear Hunter has made. I hope things go ok with your Mum and Dad

During my time away with my parents the top stitches needed to be done again. There was a stand in vet and my OH was not pleased with her expertise! Seeing the surgeon tomorrow. He is walking quite well but I am afraid my OH walks him more than the 10 mins. However it is very slow walking and loads of sniffing. His stitches are sore looking and they sent a sample to the lab before the new stitches. So we will see what happens tomorrow. I feel like pants too, luckily not Covid but every muscle and bone aches. Hunter is resting after wanting to play.

It’s a lot you’re dealing with @Loraseal , sorry you’re feeling rubbish - I hope you feel better really soon, and get lots of rest. Fingers crossed that Hunter’s stitches aren’t problematic, it’s a good thing you’re seeing the surgeon tomorrow x
