Hunter's Limping Again

Dropped him off at the vet. He was not happy he missed his brekkie. The vets let you choose if you want to stay whilst they put them under the anesthetic. I wanted to stay but he settles much quicker when I leave him. We are also harvesting another batch of stem cells today. She is going to inject the cells in his elbows, shoulders and hips. I was a complete mess walking back to the car. Had to drop my OH at the airport as well......

@Loraseal I can really empathise with how you must be feeling about Hunter as I am in a similar situation with Rourke, except it is Rourke's shoulder, it seems so sad that these younger dogs should have to suffer and my heart hurts for them both. Hopefully the next stem cell treatment will be a success.

Yes @Selina27 the India trip is done! A working trip which involved a long flight, numerous taxi rides in crazy traffic, lots of meetings and lots and lots of curry to eat. I also have several angry mosquito bites on both ankles! I actually saw several Labradors there. Obviously rich owners as the dogs were on the heavy side! Amazingly friendly people but just a country of many extremes. I manged a quick visit to the Gate of India in Mumbai and drank a Kingfisher beer (not Gin:drink:!) in the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.

Back home and he is very upset and cannot settle They had to get the stem cells elsewhere and he is still slightly bleeding as he woke up too energetic. I will let you know more tomorrow as he is very unsettled and I need to keep him rested. A long night tonight I think...... making sure he doesn't lick his stitches.
