Important decisions our dogs must make.

Wispa loves water and particularly enjoys swimming. Tuppence is more cautious: she swims with her head out of the water and would really prefer to keep her paws on whatever is underneath! They both love muddy puddles, though!

Red walks around puddles on our evening walks - it’s a hoot - she even sees them in the dark and avoids them. She loves to swim in the sea. She did however do a lot of wallowing with her mates when she was in the kennels recently - I saw the evidence on Facebook 🤣

She’s the dark yellow one with her tail in the air, paddling in their rain sodden paddock 😊

Every day @Selina27 I saw lots of photos of her and I could see she was having a great time - they give them two good exercise sessions each day and interact with them. My daughter’s greyhound was there too and we asked if they could spend some time together which they kindly did. Red came home very chilled - always a good sign 😊
Sounds like you found really good kennels, you can see that she's enjoying herself.

I'm hoping the place we've chosen for Maxx is as good as yours @Atemas. They have free range at all times but supervised. They too have promised daily pics on FB. I think he will have a ball and probably miss all his mates when we come home

He’ll be fine and I honestly think our dogs, if they are happy ‘go with the flow’. I think the supervision and interaction from humans is essential for relaxed dogs. Red has just slotted straight back in at home (although I know she misses Sky). I know it was only a week but she has 2 separate 1 nighters coming up so we will see if she’s the same. I have noticed much more focus on us - whether that’s just coincidence I don't know.
My daughter’s dog who was there for some of the same time was equally chilled on going home which was good to hear.
