He asks me when this 'thing' is going to leave.....What does Finn think of little Odin x
I am starting gundog training. Most of the pup owners are experienced in this field of sport. So the breeder said that I could join them if I want that. The other pup owners are gundog teachers themselfs....If this means that I am going to win trophies with Odin I am not sure. It is not Odin, hè comes from very clever parents, it is me who has to learn....What a gorgeous pup!!
I love that all the littermates get to meet up. Is this organized by the breeder? And will this be an ongoing thing? Snowie always loved meeting up with his brother (lived in a nearby town).
This is great, I am sure you will enjoy working with gorgeous Odin giving him the opportunity to use is in built ablity, whatever the outcome.I am starting gundog training. The breeder organises meet ups once a year
How wonderful, I loved gun dog training, discovered it in my 40s and can say my 70s, when I discovered Labradors, have been one of the happiest times of my life. Am doing a little with Flicka but of course will not be working her!I am starting gundog training. Most of the pup owners are experienced in this field of sport. Have you tried the Gundog Club Harriet? There is a regional list of accredited trainers on their website xxI haven't been able to find any R+ gun doggers round us, they generally seem to take a v old fashioned (i.e. punitive) approach. If anyone knows of an R+ register for gundog training anywhere, I'd love to know about it.
I didn't know about this, thanks Helen! Having checked it, there's only one trainer in my county and looking at their website, they don't fit my criteria for R+. The search continues...Have you tried the Gundog Club Harriet? There is a regional list of accredited trainers on their website xx
