Joint Pain

We've just come back from the vet - Ripple behaved like an absolute idiot in the surgery and made me feel like a liar  . The (senior) vet couldn't find anything wrong with him, he manipulated his legs and Ripple was completely fine. He said they could do some x-rays but he felt it wasn't really necessary at the moment (Ripple was prancing like a pony at this point  ) .

I've just got to keep an eye on him and, all being well, they'll check again in a couple of months time when he has his jabs.
We've all been there, both Rory and Iver have done similar things and made me look like a worrier. It was bad and it's better to check it out. Glad he's ok sorry you had such a worry.♥

So frustrating for you - but glad that Ripple seems better. I suppose humans quite often pull/ tweak something that hurts for a bit and then wears off, but with our dogs it's very difficult to know how serious it is. x

All that worry and then the effort to get him to the vet and he embarrasses you by being fine! I mean, can’t he even fake a limp?! 😛

I’m so pleased Ripple is fine. What a relief it must be for you. x

So pleased he is better but I wonder what was the matter in the first place? Glad he is prancing about anyway
I feel that there is possibly some underlying issue that could surface again, but I’m not going to worry about it at the moment.
We went to the beach today and Ripple had a lovely time and even went swimming fetching tennis balls , AND didn’t eat anything disgusting  .
