Is he feeling any better today? My experience with kennel cough has been so much different in that they start getting better very quickly and don't seem to feel as rotten as poor Pepper. He must have an ugly strain of it.

I hope he's starting to feel better. As he's a young dog, otherwise fit, hopefully he should rally quite quickly as @Emily_Babbelhund says.
Our old spaniel Max caught it when he was 11 and had a very bad time but he was an elderly dog by then. Fingers crossed for Pepper's speedy return to his normal fun self.

He's certainly coughing less this morning, and now he's looking at me as if to say when haven't you taken me for a walk yet!Is he feeling any better today? And he woofed down his antibiotics hidden inside cocktail sausages!
Well Pepper appears to be on the mend, he's stopped coughing but is a little wheezy when he gets excited. His recovery probably hasn't be helped by my brother and his family arriving for a week. Last time they came Pepper was just 11 weeks old and tiny.
A one year old puppy and my two nephews who are 4 and 7 has been interesting to say the least!
Pepper seems rather taken with Oscar who's 7 and vice versa. His younger brother started off completely terrified of Pepper but is becoming a little more confident with him now.
