Kennel cough

Tatze and Ted both have Kennel cough. We had a video call with the vet and she said they can have walks but not to meet other dogs.

Tatze had her kennel cough vaccine two weeks ago, it seems to have made no difference - or maybe she'd have been worse without it?

A spoonful of honey twice a day. Tatze loves it, Ted won't touch it. I'm softening their food. Both are eating fine.

Tatze is much worse than Ted, really hoarse, coughy and lethargic, bless her. Ted is his normal self, but sneezy.

Tatze is twelve in April, Ted is three in May.

Poor Tatse and Ted. The last two times Homer had the kennel cough vaccine he had a bout of kennel cough afterwards.

Poor loves , I recall reading that there are many strains of KC, a bit like the common cold and that the vaccine only works on one of them , the most prevalent at the time . Get well soon please xxx
