When my 2 kick off it's sounds like Wookies are being murdered in the living room and a dinosaur stampede. The neighbors can hear them

So, Lilly has had a better week.
Enthusiastic for walks.
Eating well.

We went swimming today and she was keen, swam well, really enjoyed her wash and dry, pushing her bum AND her neck in for the blow dry.

Also, she had no leg wobble. None of the back end muscle twitching she has been doing. On reflection, she hasn't been doing that at home either.

So what's different? Well, we stopped all her meds for a week (Previcox, YouMove, Vit B3 for her lupus).
She has been on the upgraded YouMove PLUS for a week, that's all. Maybe a little extra food.
Not sure what's done it, but she seems SO much better, much perkier. We haven't even started the Cartrophen injections yet.

Oh that's brilliant news. What's the difference between Yumove & the Plus version?

Apparently it has more green lipped muscle in it as well as more fish oil.
Better for stiffer older dogs.
Only available from the YouMove website direct.

Looking at side effects of vitamin B (in overdose mostly) and it says this about B3


Some of the other B vitamins can cause neuromuscular and liver disorders as well as GI upset.
The dermatology vet was keen I continued with the B3, even if the steroids were stopped.
I wonder if it has been a combination of the previcox and B3 that has maybe knocked her a bit?

I am sure Lilly will be better off without Previcox, I think it can make them feel a bit yucky. If she needs pain control then the odd paracetamol as necessary. Pleased to read she is so much brighter.

@Jacqui-S Nelly was on Yumove active for 2 years , then a friend whos dog had sadly died posted me about four months supply of the Plus , I asked the Vet if it was ok to up to this , she said fine because its only the extra green lipped mussel . It worked even better on Nelly , she has been like a thing possessed , its like rocket fuel for dogs xx

Just the Youmove?
Not sure, I have paid for the cartrophen, I think I may go ahead with it, but maybe leave it for a little while. I will check with the vet what the expiry date is.
