@snowbunny youve probably heard Deb Jones’ Fenzi Dog Sports Podcast on this - she’s really interesting on the use of cooperative care with other species. I’ve joined her FB group and there’s some lovely posts from zoos using this sort of training to take blood, administer injections and do the basic husbandry activities with all sorts of species.I love hearing about this sort of husbandry used with wild animals in zoo environments, where the alternative is using tranquillisers; and they have clicked trained rhinos, lions, jackals and such to have blood draws, physical exams and all sorts else through a fence with no coercion at all.
