What a lovely idea for a thread! It's difficult to choose just one for Joy, but I think it one of my favourites is the way she greets me first thing in the morning....a tentative lick of my elbow, just to enquire politely whether I'm awake, then if I am, front paws on the bed, lots of kisses and it's 'Goodmorning GoodgirlJoy!' The best ever start to the day!

Red has her own internal alarm clock when it’s officially bedtime - that means she goes to her bed in the utility room and gets a few fish biscuits. She can be fast asleep in the sitting room but promptly at that time, she’ll stand up, stretch fully and goes to F to give him a kiss. She is so sweet. Sometimes we feel we are being rounded up and sent to bed πŸ˜‚. We also know the biscuits are a huge draw to go to her night time bed but I love this little ritual ❀

Maxx has a morning routine where he stalks around the house looking for something to steal. A slipper, a tea-towel, clothing etc. Once he finds his treasure he prances around for a minute or two then runs into the office where Steve and I are on our computers and basically blackmails us into giving him attention and/or taking him for his walk. Ignore at your peril! Else the treasure be chewed

Chewie has this look on his face when his "bark pressure" is building and he wants something. He tries to hold the bark in but you can see how hard he's working on his little face. Very cute.

He also has a little ceremony most mornings where he gets up, jumps off our bed, walks to the foyer and rolls around grunting loudly. πŸ™Š

Where to start - the older she gets the more our days are packed with the little things!

Currently I would have to say the obvious glee she's expressing having got hold of The Blanket and folded it into a Cassie size and shape on the sofa -- the tail thumping and grin of delight is adorably funny. She definitely thinks she's got one over me -- again!!

Homer was similar, He'd steal my socks when I was getting dressed and I'd have to run around the house after him, half dressed.
