Lump on ear.

I hope the lump is nothing. How old is Good Girl Joy? Snowie is popping up with tiny lumps all the time. The vet said it’s age. Tiny hard warty lumps on the surface of his skin. Thankfully Snowie’s lump in his mouth was an epulis—connective tissue. I’m hoping Joy’s is nothing, too. But I can understand how worried you are. xxx

Lots of Lambies for sweet GGJ.

Sounds like even if it is something that needs to be done something to (if that makes sense), your vet can do that quickly and GGJ will be back in top shape. Not that she knows that she may not be in top shape, judging by that photo! ❤

GGJ will be five in April. She has been a bit prone to lumps, an awful retrobulbar abscess back in 2018 and a benign warty lump last year.

I had a call from the vet thismorning and the news is good! Joy's lump is a Histiocytoma, a benign, fast growing lump most common in dogs under six years old. It could just go away of its own accord, but if it doesn't they would recommend surgical removal. I had been telling myself not to start fearing the worst, and that she was surely far to lively for it to be anything really serious, but as everyone here will know only too well it's difficult not to worry when our dogs may be poorly.
Thankyou all for the Lambies and support. It's a beautiful sunny day and Joy and I are spending it tidying the garden. Here she is on our walk in the woods thismorning, by her usual wallowing spot, looking just a little bit indignant because it has dried up!20220322_100619.jpg

Glad about the result Moo had one of these and it went on its own. Hope she enjoys herself despite the lack of mud.♥

Good news, I'm only just reading this so have been worried for only a few minutes, you must have been chewing the walls waiting all that time. Bless her little cotton socks :inlove:
