Mantrailing!

I have recently qualified as a mantrailing instructor and Maslow got his level one..!!
I was wondering if anyone wanted to set up a meet for it? I wouldn’t charge or anything like that.. I just thought it might be a nice way to thank you all for the support earlier in the year and also because it would be a great excuse for a meet up

Wow! Well done! Homer and I are still quite haphazard with our man trailing but will certainly be up for a session - or more. Just a warning Homer will search through every muddy puddle and stinky stagnant pond.

It’s a shame I live in another country! Finn loves mantrailing and was quite good at it. We stopped as we didn’t see a progress in the course which we followed. There was no challenge anymore….

That’s a great photo! I’m surprised by the lack of challenge.. did you do things like ages trails and split trails etc? Increase the distance?

Yes we did. Finn found items belonging to the instructor she lost a few month before….So yes. Also split trails he nailed them quite easily. The only thing what was a challenge were trails in heather and sand. They were very difficult for him. But after 4 years of mantrailing and every other weekend with no challenge and the amount of money this costs (we paid almost €50,- a lesson for 1 hour) we decided to stop…

Gosh he sounds like a natural!!! Have you ever considered going operational with him?

Yes, but it is hard to find professional instructors/ schools. And now he is almost 8 he is too old!

Even if we weren't 10,000 miles away I couldn't bring mad Maxx as he would create chaos for sure. Lockdown has NOT helped with his boisterousness but I am very much looking forward to pictures of the meet-ups
