I’m a true Northerner And I subscribe to @Aitch theory as my dog does have a very human name

Agreed, I am not Northern, having been born, and I still live, just a few miles from the centre of England, I am neither northern nor southern, eastern nor western (if that's even a thing). I am extremely Middling.
