Meet Mr Lime-Green collar

Or Bertie. Y’know, if you like it, sounds like it’s a good fit 😁
I do like Bertie, but doesn't it just sound like a cuddly puppy name, not a big dog name? And Bert is an old dog name. And reminds me of Adrian Mole.

@Jacqui-S inspired me to think of some local names / connections so I've been searching GEORGE Eliot character names.

It's astonishing how so many names have a connection.
I came across Silas Marner which I liked, and then suddenly realised @kateincornwall 's grandson is Silas.

Adam Bede reminded me of Ian Beale. 😟

Felix Holt made me think of the extortionate amount I spend on catfood pouches right now.

I liked @Emily 's Benji but forgot OH had a childhood dog that ran away and he never found so that's a no go. ( He also had a rabbit called Kier Hardy,😁)

I may be overthinking this..

Coco has a friend at school called Bertie, he is an enormous, fluffy, white German Shepherd. He does get called Bert too. Or Rosie (his "sister" dog is called Rosie). Bertie suited him hen he was a little puppy...Bertie doesn't care what suits him.
