Meg

It's not busy at all dog-wise. They've probably got maybe 5-10 (you can't just wander around & view the dogs, it stresses them - you have to book an appointment and they bring the dog out to meet you). It sounds noisy with lots of barking but they also board so most dogs there are on their holibobs. They have quite a lot of cats & rabbits in another building which I think you can wander around - I never have.

When we got Coco, we waited 4 weeks - visiting and walking him with Belle every Sat/Sun & OH visited on his own in the week. This was at our insistence, not theirs. We had to be sure. I don't think it will take as long with Coco & Meg. IF we are allowed to have her. It's no done deal yet, I must keep reminding myself.

Once I've visited a dog there (and fallen in love), it's horrible thinking of them laying down to sleep alone, in a kennel - though the kennels are very clean and comfortable, and they do try and give the dogs plenty of enrichment.
