Very stressed but holding it together xHe must feel so much better.
Good boy.
And you are such a good mum.
For humans they always say lots of extra protein when you're trying to heal, but sounds like you're on that already. After my surgeries in Germany they also gave me something called Traumeel. I'm not sure it did anything for me, but the docs sure seemed to think it was essential to get the wounds to heal.Ok now what else can I do to help the healing. He's got a good diet and on good meds so can I do anything else any ideas welcome.i have offered the doggie gods and goddesses the sacrifice of 2 of my best dog collars all of my remaining dignity already.
I saw the piece of glass it was a big shard of emerald evilOh wow, that piece of glass in there must have been horrible for him. Thank goodness you kept at it until they found the culprit.

I had a very sick dog who had foot problems so I got very sensitive to licking and careful sneaky dogs. He must not disturb his stitches or bandages so if I'm not with him he wears his cone. If I leave the room cone even for a minute. I sleep next to him and stay in the same room with him I follow him everywhere and monitor him constantly. If he looks at his bandage he's told to leave it. If he licks his injection anaesthetic site he is told to leave. If he nibbles any wound dressing he's told to leave. It will be like this for the next week at least. It's tough but it's the only way if I left him he would take it of and may take the stitches out and that may lead to serious complications and implications. It's like total footballAw poor boy. Hope he feels better soon. I’m amazed he’s not chewing on it. Simba gets a cone automatically or bandages are gone within minutes.![]()

I'm not allowed to touch it yet it's still dressed and stitched so no pulling it etc for 14 days. He's in again tomorrow for redressing and wound inspection and checking the stitches. He's not allowed to do too much yet but he's sleepy and drugged and it hurts. I will be massaging manipulating it and doing light exercise as soon as it's safe.I've been told that you can help wound healing by improving blood flow. So....gentle warmth; gentle exercise; maybe even gentle massage? Also staying well hydrated is a good idea for pretty much anything.
Hope Mr Pink is back to Mr Bounce soon.
He's being so good Kate but I've got to go back to work tomorrow it's going to be hard to leave him even for a short time. My heart will be screaming noPoor lamb x
