Muzzles for travelling

We are going to lake Annecy in France next week. We should get Stanley a muzzle to make things easier. There is a bus we can take along the lake and a muzzle would be helpful when out and about for peace of mind. Any suggestions?

We have a Baskerville one which we used for Sky (when she was snacking on undesirables!). We took it to France and Spain last year for Red in case it was required for each country we were in. I had it hooked on my backpack all the time but never needed to use it

Have a lovely time in Lake Annecy

I bought a muzzle for Poppy when we were taking her up a cable car in the Alps, but in the event they waved us through and she didn't have to wear it, phew! It was one of those muzzles that velcro around the muzzle, so you can loosen or tighten as needed, and I think it is still gathering dust on a shelf somewhere, together with the myriad of other dog gear I have purchased over the years...

Meg has an Ancol plastic muzzle for her vet visits. We bought a Baskerville when we were in a hurry to get one in an emergency, but it never really fitted and wasn't suitable. The (cheaper) Ancol was one I'd bought just to muzzle train Coco, and it suits her better. She has a long nose.

Make sure Stanley can pant and drink.
