My sweet Axel

I really do feel for you my lovely . When I worked for the Blue Cross Pet Bereavement Support Service , I would often use this little analogy , it may help you . Grief is like a wound , it is open and hurts but then slowly it begins to knit and hurt less . Sometimes , we knock that wound and because it is not yet healed fully , it opens up again and the hurt returns just as it did at the beginning . Slowly over time , it heals and leaves a scar , this scar is the lasting memory of your lost one xx
I think all of us who have lost a darling pet have these sudden moments , I certainly do , do not fear them and do not hide your tears , they are a good release of emotion , love to you xxxx
