Thank you dear friends . I took Nelly back to bed at 5 a.m. , she was exhausted poor little love . I made a nest for her , she went to sleep and is still asleep now but I carried her to her little basket in the sitting room as she panics if left alone . Every hope I can hope is pinned on our Vet visit , we both feel sad and worried , thank you again xxxx

How is Nelly doing this afternoon, Kate?

We are home after a very long consultation . Nelly now has pregabalin and metacam plus omeprezole . There is a small amount of swelling on her spine close to the neck and she also has a growth in her mouth at the front . The main thing of course is to treat the neurological problems , she has to go back Monday/Tuesday unless the medications do not improve her, in which case , sadly there is only one option open . Bless her , she was such a good little girl , not a growl did she make despite an extensive examination . So , we keep everything crossed that she will respond well as we could not allow her to continue as she has been . We will address the growth once she hopefully improves , she is not well enough to put her through anything else , thank you for your good wishes xxxx
