Nelly's dog attack journey ❤️

How is Miss Nelly Kate @kateincornwall . I hope she in enjoying her push chair x
She is doing well thank you x Pain killers have been reduced , antibiotics finished now . Yesterday she was eager to walk so she managed a good fifteen minutes before she started showing signs of being tired . Vets on Friday for a check up , I doubt they will take her stitches out , most likely be Monday . I was so surprised when one of the nurses rang me to ask how she was doing , she has had wonderful care xxx

She really is being so very good , never objecting to the cone , just accepting of the fact that she has three legs , I wonder if she realises she only has three legs ? I cannot sing the praises of our Vets and nurses highly enough , they seem to love her to bits for the courage she is showing . I could weep at the pain she has endured and hope she wont remember it xx

Nelly is back at the Vets this morning , hopefully her stitches will be taken out, thanks for asking . I think she will have to keep the cone on for a while longer as there was an open area on her elbow which Sue could not stitch , it is scabbing over now but we want to make sure it is healing well and I know that given half a chance , she will be scratching at it xx In herself she is good, she sleeps a lot but we understand that all her energy is going into the healing process . She does well on her three legs but as her back end joints were always poor , we are trying to give her all the needs to build the muscle in her one remaining back leg , she is a little super star xxxx
