Mike died this evening at about 6.15, all rather sudden. A very big thank you to @Beanwood and @Selina27 for the practical help they gave me and their kindness and @Granca and all of you, for being there and caring.

Yes, feeling very numb and then have flashbacks of it happening. Am all alone at the moment but I don't mind.

That is just so sad for you.
I'm glad that Mike was at least close by and didn't end up in the next county. You have had such a lot of stress and worry. I'm sorry you weren't better supported earlier on in his illness, I really am.

I also found I wanted to be alone on the night that Trevor died. I needed to talk to him, shout at him and grasp the enormity of what had happened and how my life would be changed by that. Here if you need someone. Plenty of room for a friend and lovely Labrador to come and stay, should that be something you'd like to do. For now just here though. xxxx
