Out for 10 minutes!

Aspen has always stayed in his crate while we were away ever since he was a baby. Today, we went out for a quick run to get food and decided to let Aspen stay out as it would only be 10 minutes tops. When we came back, he was calmly waiting for us by the door! I am so proud of him! We definitely like him being in his crate just because it is safe for him, but it would be nice for him to be able to stay out with my sister's dogs when we watch them. I think Aspen is proud of himself too

Last night he did 15 minutes! Wahoo! I'm sure at some point there might be a little oopsie but I am very proud of him because he is normally a very energetic boy. We have been exercising A LOT more and it is astonishing how much it helps. Less jumping, less barking, less over-excitement.

Hmm...maybe once Aspen hits 2 I can finally start looking for a Golden Retriever pup...
