Poorly boy

At some unearthly hour of this morning , Reuben woke me coughing and chucking up white frothy stuff , this went on all night . I rang the Vets and made an appointment for 5 p.m. but he got worse after lunch so they got us in earlier . It is Kennel Cough and he also has a lot of gas in his tummy ( grass being the culprit ) and a slightly raised temperature . Anna has told me that quite a few of yesterdays group have come down with it today so she is cancelling sessions apart from those who need her essentially . Just hoping that Nelly doesnt start with it , poor Reubs is feeling rotten but still wagged his tail at the Vets xx

Lots of kennel cough around right now. I guess no-one has been vaccinating against it so it's rife in the UK. Hope the big lad feels better soon!

Dont they just break hearts at times ? I heard him coughing and spluttering in the night , outside the bedroom door and still he wagged his tail furiously at me when I got up at 6 , such stoic beings . The Vet had offered Loxicom but I declined as it made him very sick last time he had it after his castration so its honey on a spoon for him which he adores . No walks but it wont hurt him , just fingers crossed the small one doesnt start with it xxx

Nelly is a little subdued , she always hides herself away if she isnt feeling great and she is currently under the coffee table and wont come out . Just keeping a watchful eye on her as well now x
