This is such a lovely photo of Cassie , so pleased she is getting better xxx
I was concerned about how I'd manage, but she's been amazingly tolerant. She doesn't like the wash going in, but quite likes the cleaning. The drops I just pop in later once the ear is dry when I see her resting with the left ear uppermost.Does she mind getting them?
We had a different approach as well. They took Hugo back in the treatment area and deep cleaned his ears, then did a ‘one shot’ treatment and that was it, I’m curious now if that was also a cream? We do go back today for a 2 week recheck to make sure it’s all gone but he hasn’t been scratching at all since so I’m hopeful so far.Hunter also had a gunky ear. Interestingly my vet approach was very different. She cleaned his ear and it was so deep that I thought she was going to tickle his throat. I was quite worried but Hunter had no issues. She then squirted a whole tube of cream in his ear and massaged it. The groans from Hunter were very embarrassing. Repeated again 4 days later and his ear is all good. I asked about drops but she said the cream was much better.
