Poorly Sick Meg

She lost her Sparkle last night. She'd done mahossive grass sick yesterday lunch - silly girl often eats too much grass.
When we came in from our meal out, she'd sicked again but it had bean eaten, leaving just a stain on the carpet.

12:10AM woken by Meg doing that heaving at the bedroom door, leaped out of bed..too late. I had to open the door over the sick. She sicked again in the hall and on the lounge before I could steer her out into the pouring rain. Left her there while, butt naked, I scrubbed the sick. No grass, just foody-sick. Back to bed. Left the bedroom door open this time.
Half an our later woken by dog in the hall, heaving again. Rushed through - too late. Massive slick in the hall by the door. Whizzed her through. More sick by the back door before I could get her out into the pouring rain again. Scrubbed up the sick. Back to bed. Decided it best to have the now soggy, wet Meg(an) on the bed, at least I'd get an earlier warning if she were to be sick again. She was. A further 2 times. I did manage to get her out in time. What a sight. Me squatting at the back door - still butt-naked, watching or listening for my poor Sparkle girl doing HUGE sicks. Coco sneaking up behind me...well you can guess where he shoved his cold nose. I hope hope hope no-one was up and about at 3am. She was so down in herself and finally snuggled up and went to sleep leaving me an inch of bed.

This morning, she's so angry that she's had no breakfast! She's just been out in the garden (still raining), poking about in the grass-sick pile! I'm going out in a bit to get some white fish for her dinner this evening.

Now to let all the sick patches dry, and re-scrub the (beige) carpet.

OH "doesn't do sick" - well huh! Someone has to. No, it's not pleasant. I made sure I flicked the bedroom light on all the time I was up.

Sorry to hear. Nothing gets you up quicker than that heaving sound! Do you know why she’s feeling so sick?

For cleaning up vomit stains, I think Simple Solution is amazing! Once you’ve cleansed off as much solids as can, spray and leave for 24 hours. Might have to clean again after that.

Oh, poor little Meg, what on earth had she eaten to be SO sick. Poor you too, out in the wee small hours, stitchless in the rain. Hopefully no one saw you - was Halloween though so .... :$:giggl:

Seriously though, I hope Meg is over it and will be back to her perky self very quickly x

Poor love , nothing worse than a dog being sick in the night , as I know to my cost as Reubs was sick at 5.30 this morning , doesnt half get you out of bed fast ! Get well soon Meg , get your sparkle back xxx

..it was quite refreshing! About 8.5 degrees last night, very heavy but fine rain blowing in through the door.

I have no idea what she's eaten apart from the masses of grass. Probably some kind of poo in the field. She seems to have a fairly delicate stomach. She's not 100% now, but not far off, about 90%. Probably because she's hungry. I've just boiled some haddock with a little rice. She can have some sloppy fishy-rice for tea - that should take the hunger edge off.
