OH and I were talking about Poppy this morning and agreeing that she is definitely getting slower, although still enjoying life. We took her out to a Biergarten last night; she LOVED it! So I said to OH that hopefully there will be a biergarten at the rainbow bridge for her...

Turns out he had never heard of the rainbow bridge!!! He thought it was such a lovely idea, it made him cry!! Sentimental old thing...

Took the dynamic duo out for a walk in a local meadow with a stream running along it (and of course a nice cafe for us, with a view of a castle on a hill in the distance...). The outing was much enjoyed by all! We find taking Poppy out for little jaunts keeps her happy and engaged - she tends to drag along in a rather bored and sulky manner on our normal walks, but take her somewhere new and she is alert and happy!
